About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide customer service support for exhibitors via email and phone
- Assist exhibitors with show logistics, deadlines, policies, and event resources
- Support exhibitor account management, invoice follow-up, and payment tracking
- Assist with exhibit space sales, exhibitor onboarding and communications, and cross-selling advertising, partnership, and sponsorship opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, and industry suppliers
- Provide logistical support for key exhibitors, including conference registration lists and hotel room blocks
- Provide onsite support for exhibitors and sponsors, including staffing the exhibit sales office and assisting with event operations
- Conduct prospecting, lead generation, and targeted sales outreach for sponsorship revenue
- Manage sponsorship inquiries, communications, proposals, contracts, and benefit fulfillment
- Research prospective sponsors and maintain sales records, pipeline activity, and prospect information
- Collaborate with the Senior Sales Account Manager, Director of Partnerships, and Marketing team
- Manage sponsorship and partnership marketing plans
- Identify prospective advertisers, sponsors, partners, and other revenue opportunities
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–4 years of experience in customer service, sales support, business development, account coordination, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service and resolve issues with professionalism and resourcefulness
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently and take initiative
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in the multifamily housing industry and/or exhibit/association sales preferred
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred
