About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee daily operations of affordable housing communities
- Manage property operations, budgets, and policies
- Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and related programs
- Oversee leasing, marketing, rent collection, and occupancy
- Address resident concerns and coordinate move-ins and move-outs
- Supervise, train, and evaluate on-site staff
- Oversee maintenance, inspections, and safety standards
- Prepare and submit required compliance reports
- Ensure Fair Housing compliance, accurate waiting lists, and organized tenant files
- Maintain strong MOR and REAC inspection outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have multi-site experience
- Must have HUD affordable housing experience
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet National Church Residences’ motor policy
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2 or more years of affordable housing property management experience
- CPM or ARM certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of housing regulations
- Leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office
