About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the planning and delivery of customer and stakeholder engagement events across the programme
- Shape engagement strategy for key customer and stakeholder forums
- Identify emerging issues, define event objectives and develop agendas supporting organisational priorities and customer outcomes
- Design engagement activities to influence decision-making and gather meaningful stakeholder insight
- Identify opportunities for stakeholder dialogue and develop content supporting organisational priorities
- Maintain a strong understanding of Connections and the Connections reform environment
- Own the strategic design, planning and delivery of engagement events
- Lead the governance process for event buy-in with senior leadership
- Design and deliver engagement approaches that generate stakeholder insight
- Translate feedback into actionable recommendations for programme teams and senior leaders
- Inform decision-making and continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience working in a complex, fast-paced and evolving environment within a regulated industry, the energy infrastructure sector, or a connections programme
- Strong customer focus and commitment to understanding stakeholder needs
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to absorb complex information quickly and translate it into clear, accessible and engaging communications and discussions
- Proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to learn and continuously improve
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK by the start of employment
- Visa sponsorship may not be available and will be considered in line with business requirements
- Experience supporting or delivering stakeholder engagement activities, workshops, forums or events
- Experience gathering, analysing and reporting stakeholder feedback and insights
