About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide substantive, timely feedback to students on assessment activities
- Maintain a positive, safe, inclusive, student-centric learning environment
- Complete required tasks by deadlines, including final grades, assessments, grading rubrics, and input for grade appeals
- Maintain appropriate professional training and/or scholarly activities when applicable
- Provide feedback to the course lead regarding course content
- Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services
- Work closely with the Academic Program Director and other faculty to support program quality, student engagement, and student success
Requirements
What you’ll need- Doctoral degree in Health Services or a related field from a regionally accredited university
- 3–5 years of higher education teaching experience preferred
- Experience serving on doctoral dissertation committees preferred
- Dissertation chair experience preferred
- Evidence of ongoing scholarly activity, such as peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, or scholarly research, preferred
- Experience mentoring doctoral students preferred
- Professional health services certifications such as FACHE, CMM, CPH, or CPHRM preferred
- Online doctoral teaching experience preferred
- Experience with qualitative, quantitative, and/or mixed-methods research preferred
- Cover letter required
- Curriculum vitae required
- Unofficial transcripts of highest degree attained required
