About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to an Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001
Support risk assessments, action tracking, and ongoing documentation
Contribute to security, compliance, and supplier audits
Support activities related to NIS2, the GDPR, the Cyber Resilience Act, and the EU AI Act
Contribute to the further development of policies, processes, and templates
Support internal and external audits and reviews
Work closely with IT, HR, management, and external partners

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently pursuing a degree in IT Security, Cybersecurity, or Information Security (from the fifth semester of a bachelor's degree onward or enrolled in a master's program)
Interest in IT security, governance, data protection, and regulatory topics
Initial experience with information security or compliance is an advantage
Structured, precise, and reliable working style
German proficiency at C2 level, both written and spoken
Very good command of English
Motivation to develop professionally and gradually take on responsibility
