About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development and management of strategic wellness programs, including health promotion, engagement, behavior change, and related programs
- Monitor and analyze wellness program data; track industry trends and best practices; present conclusions and recommendations to improve effectiveness
- Lead vendor selection and management, including contract development and implementation
- Oversee vendor contract quality assurance and the division budget
- Evaluate vendor delivery, customer service satisfaction, and effectiveness; ensure integration with other benefits vendors
- Consult with business unit leaders to create custom wellness programs, resources, and training
- Advise senior leadership on integrating wellness into organizational strategy, policies, and practices
- Oversee the annual wellness communications plan and coordinate with Internal Communications on supporting materials
- Maintain relationships with team members, management, senior leadership, stakeholders, and vendors
- Lead inter-departmental teams and integrate wellness programming and policies with broader enterprise strategy
- Lead development of strategic plans, tactics, and divisional goals using data-driven and qualitative insights
- Mentor junior and developing staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 10 years of experience
- Subject matter expert within business area/specialization with understanding of interrelationships of different disciplines
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive decisions
- Significant experience overseeing the design, implementation, and evaluation of high-impact wellness programs
- Expert knowledge of corporate wellness programs and initiatives
- Expert knowledge of behavior change theory and its application to diverse populations
- Specialized skill in collecting and analyzing data to evaluate program effectiveness
- Significant experience working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, and vendors
- Specialized skill to successfully influence, lead and/or guide others towards goals
- Significant experience managing and leading multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment
- Specialized skill building relationships through rapport, trust, diplomacy and tact
- Expert ability to compile, organize and present information clearly and concisely
- Specialized skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions
- Expert verbal and written communication skills
- Expert organizational, planning and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity
- Ability to mentor junior and developing staff
- Bachelor’s degree in health promotion or related field, or equivalent training, education, and experience
