About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist business unit management in developing, modifying, and executing action plans, policies, standards, and processes
- Plan, deploy, and measure marketing effectiveness with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor industry shifts and recommend ways to keep products and services competitively positioned
- Evaluate the portfolio to identify opportunities to improve programs, products, and services
- Provide strategic analysis and recommendations to senior department leadership
- Analyze technology and financial market trends and competitive strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
- Use performance measurements to identify improvement areas and develop process improvement plans
- Develop internal analysis action plans, identify operational root causes, and establish solutions
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses using analytical techniques, tools, models, and simulations
- Build financial forecasts, cost analyses, and Front Office reports
- Serve as subject matter expert on product functions and their relationship to other products and services
- Collaborate with partners, Member Research & Intelligence, and Product Marketing to develop email campaign strategies
- Lead complex interdepartmental initiatives and project teams
- Provide leadership, guidance, training, and support for successful project implementation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced knowledge of products, services, processes, requirements, and systems related to the business unit
- Advanced knowledge of state and Federal laws, industry regulations, principles, practices, and company policies governing the business unit's products/services
- Advanced knowledge of banking/financial industry trends, products, and services
- Ability to synthesize analyses, develop recommendations, and present results to solve unique and complex problems
- Significant experience collaborating across organizational boundaries and building partnerships across functions
- Significant experience leading large projects/initiatives with business risk and impact
- Demonstrated track record managing multiple initiatives and changing requirements and priorities
- Advanced strategic thinking skills to develop comprehensive marketing plans
- Skill in building strategic and execution-focused plans and alliances with partner leadership
- Skill in innovative problem-solving and facilitating decision-making
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Skill interacting diplomatically and tactfully with staff, management, vendors, and members

- Effective use of PCs and related software packages
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or combination of training, education, and experience
