About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collect, aggregate, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
  • Identify and interpret trends and patterns
  • Prepare ongoing reports and data visualizations to support business decisions
  • Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, dashboards, and BI solutions
  • Produce KPI reports, identify operational improvement areas, and perform root cause analysis
  • Use analytics and metrics to improve processes and forecast potential costs, risks, and profits of new initiatives
  • Communicate findings and provide business strategy recommendations to stakeholders
  • Provide reporting solutions and respond to ad-hoc report requests
  • Create report and analysis specifications based on business needs and available data
  • Build working relationships with team members and subject matter experts
  • Lead small projects and initiatives
  • Lead market assessments, portfolio diagnostics, and competitive analyses to identify strategic opportunities
  • Advise product leadership using market research, financial analysis, and portfolio performance insights
  • Support development and launch of new and enhanced credit card products and experiences
  • Support product innovation, portfolio growth, and strategic decision-making through market analysis, business cases, financial modeling, and cross-functional leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in product strategy, business intelligence, portfolio analytics, financial analysis, or related disciplines
  • Foundational understanding of lending principles, credit card products, and the broader card industry environment
  • Complete knowledge and understanding of business area/specialization
  • Advanced skill using business intelligence applications and/or cloud services
  • Advanced knowledge of reporting capabilities of existing ERP, CRM and/or database software vendors
  • Advanced skill using statistical methods, mathematical techniques, forecasting, and cost-benefit analysis
  • Advanced skill in complex data manipulation across multiple tables
  • Effective data integration, cleaning, and validation skills
  • Ability to communicate data analysis and visualizations to nontechnical and senior audiences
  • Skill with data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python and R
  • Intermediate skill in presenting work products through visualizations, design aesthetics, and words
  • Research and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and portfolio analysis
  • Ability to apply statistical analysis, forecasting, and analytical frameworks to inform business decisions
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience (desired)
  • MBA or relevant certification such as CPM, SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner, or PMP (desired)
  • Strong knowledge of credit card products, rewards programs, pricing strategies, and customer value propositions (desired)
  • Experience building business cases, gap analyses, financial forecasts, and ROI analyses (desired)
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, Tableau, and Power BI (desired)
  • Experience presenting recommendations to executive leadership and governance committees (desired)
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale initiatives with significant business impact (desired)
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
