About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, write, and edit RFP/RFI responses and proposals with internal teams
- Own the end-to-end proposal process, including deadline management, formatting, editing, and compliance
- Implement and leverage generative AI platforms and automation software to streamline content development
- Track common responses and build scalable proposal templates
- Maintain and update a centralized library of proposal content, case studies, and technical documentation
- Analyze past proposals to improve messaging, efficiency, and win rate
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate technical content into clear, persuasive language
- Establish scalable workflows and best practices for proposal automation
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to perform basic math
- 3-5+ years of experience in proposal writing, technical writing, or grant writing, ideally in technology, transportation, or infrastructure sectors
- Strong understanding of government or enterprise RFP processes
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude AI for content generation or document automation
- Exceptional written communication and editing skills
- Ability to manage solo projects with minimal supervision
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders
- Familiarity with proposal software tools such as Loopio or Responsive.io is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or related field
- Familiarity with parking, municipalities, or urban mobility industries
- Ability to operate desktop or laptop computers, keyboards, fax machines, calculators, photocopying equipment, and multi-line phones
- Ability to sit for long periods, concentrate without distraction, and view computer screens at close range
