About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the bank’s Finxact core and Savana digital banking platform
Support money movement services including ACH, wires, billpay, debit cards, and mobile deposit
Translate business needs into product configurations, API integrations, and process changes across deposits, lending, money movement, and the ledger
Elicit and document business and functional requirements, including BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Define and validate configuration for deposit and loan products, including rates, fees, interest accrual, transaction codes, and GL mapping
Partner with Product to shape the roadmap for new Finxact and Savana features
Assess feasibility and size impacts on core configuration, APIs, and downstream systems
Write test scenarios and run end-to-end testing across channels
Manage defects through closure
Work with Fiserv/Finxact teams, internal developers, and integration vendors on change requests, test environment management, and release cycles
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend permanent fixes
Produce operational reporting on deposit, lending, and money movement activity
Identify process improvements and support decision-making
Maintain requirements, configuration, and procedure documentation
Support associate training
Communicate status, risks, and dependencies to project managers and stakeholders
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5 years of business analysis experience, including 2+ years in banking
Hands-on experience with Finxact or another modern core such as Mambu, Thought Machine Vault, Fiserv DNA, or Jack Henry
Ability to ramp quickly on API-driven platforms
Experience with Savana or a comparable digital banking or process orchestration platform such as nCino, Pega, Alkami, Backbase, or Apiture
Understanding of bank operations, including account servicing, exceptions, reconciliations, disputes, and month-end closing
Working knowledge of APIs, including reading OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, interpreting JSON payloads, and testing with Postman or similar tools
Familiarity with event-driven architecture, microservices, and cloud concepts such as AWS/Azure
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to make sound and timely decisions, deliver on commitments, and assume responsibility for results
Ability to think creatively and meet challenges with resourcefulness
Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple tasks and/or projects
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to train personnel, write procedures and correspondence, and communicate clearly with clients and associates
Initiative to research and resolve problems before asking a manager for assistance
Ability to work at a rapid pace while sitting for long periods, typically no longer than 8 hours
Must be able to grasp, push, pull, lift, bend, raise, and hold hands and arms overhead when completing certain tasks
