About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shape and deliver the AI and technology roadmap supporting nbn’s Field and Build portfolio
- Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to align technology investments, strategic priorities, and operational outcomes
- Lead end-to-end delivery and operational management of systems and platforms across the full technology lifecycle
- Oversee planning, development, deployment, support, optimisation, and retirement of systems and platforms
- Bring together cross-functional teams, external partners, and business stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, high-quality solutions
- Support adoption of automation, AI, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Enhance delivery performance, customer experiences, and operational efficiency
- Report to the Executive General Manager SEO Networks and Operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced technology leader with a strong track record delivering complex programs and operational outcomes within large-scale technology, telecommunications, or infrastructure environments
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through significant transformation
- Experience balancing strategic priorities, operational performance, security, resiliency, and customer-focused outcomes
- Extensive experience across technology delivery, systems operations, and governance
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and meaningful business conversations
- Collaborative and influential leadership style
- Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of an organisation
- Engaging communication and stakeholder alignment skills
- Ability to translate strategy into practical, sustainable execution
- Ability to navigate ambiguity while driving structured delivery
- Sound judgement, commercial acumen, and a measured approach to decision-making
