Key responsibilities & impact- Provide commercial leadership across the New Developments portfolio
- Partner with stakeholders to strengthen investment governance
- Improve business case quality and support evidence-based decision-making
- Analyse commercial and operational performance
- Identify risks and opportunities
- Translate insights into clear recommendations to enhance portfolio outcomes and benefits realisation
- Collaborate across finance, operations, account management, and data teams
- Drive investment performance, financial planning, and governance compliance
- Support adoption of innovative analytics and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maximise long-term value for customers and the business
- Report to the Executive Manager Strategic Planning and Governance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Expertise in commercial analysis, investment governance, financial planning, and business case development
- Ability to evaluate investment opportunities and challenge assumptions
- Ability to translate complex insights into clear business recommendations
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with financial and operational data
- Experience driving governance, process improvement, and performance outcomes across cross-functional teams
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Ability to build trusted relationships and provide constructive challenge
- Ability to coach others to understand commercial drivers
- Ability to collaborate with business, finance, operational, and technology stakeholders
- Experience in telecommunications, infrastructure, property development, or similar industries is advantageous
