About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build and operate reusable AI platform services
- Develop security controls and automated engineering patterns
- Support AI agents and enterprise use cases throughout their lifecycle
- Embed secure development, automated testing, observability and resilience into delivery
- Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Architecture, Cloud and Responsible AI teams
- Improve engineering standards and resolve complex technical challenges
- Strengthen secure AI engineering practices
- Report to the DevSecOps Manager, AI Platform
- Mentor colleagues and share knowledge
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on experience across software, cloud, DevSecOps or security engineering
- Strong programming capability
- Experience with AWS or Azure
- Practical exposure to generative AI, LLMs, RAG or agentic systems
- Experience with vulnerability remediation, automated testing and observability
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience
- Cloud, security, DevSecOps or AI certifications considered
- Full working rights in Australia
