About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Process electronic monetary transactions, including incoming and outgoing domestic and foreign wires
  • Enter, approve, review, and release wire transactions
  • Establish ACH Originators on the core system and perform ACH transactions
  • Assist the Treasury Department with monitoring Federal Reserve Bank cash balance
  • Process currency and coin orders for the branch network
  • Support internal and external customers and department teammates
  • Cross-train and provide coverage for other department duties
  • Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and internal controls for wire and ACH processing
  • Resolve issues using independent judgment and escalate to management or risk areas as needed
  • Focus on risk and fraud mitigation
  • Uphold service level standards
  • Develop and update procedures with the supervisor
  • Assist with employee training and onboarding
  • Prepare reports and furnish information to authorized internal and external persons
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's degree and 2 years experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Professional experience preferred
  • Related experience preferred
  • Developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow procedures and interrogate data
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Computer skills
  • Accounting skills preferred
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work in a friendly and fast-paced environment
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers
  • Ability to remain stationary 75% of the time or greater
  • Ability to move objects up to a maximum of 10 lbs
