About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy and compliance for loans across the bank's lines of business
  • Perform moderately complex post-approval documentation reviews for adherence to loan approval, policies, and procedures
  • Monitor construction advances, collateral perfection, and insurance requirements
  • Review business banking, SBA, and other bank-documented loans for accuracy and compliance
  • Identify, report, escalate, and resolve exception items and potential risks
  • Analyze information and make processing decisions based on established procedures and guidelines
  • Prepare reports and furnish information to authorized internal and external persons
  • Provide guidance to employees regarding relevant policies and procedures
  • Support internal and external customers
  • Cross-train on other team duties and provide coverage as required
  • Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Focus on risk and fraud mitigation
  • Uphold service level standards
  • Assist with employee training and onboarding
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • Professional or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to follow procedures, interrogate data, and identify and communicate risks
  • Basic organizational skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Strong reading and comprehension skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic accounting skills preferred
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work in a friendly and fast-paced environment
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable
