About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review, analyze, and coordinate enforcement of the bank’s interest in repossessions, foreclosures, and bankruptcies
- Coordinate and oversee outside collateral inspections, including monitoring floor plans
- Interact with internal and external customers regarding collection situations
- Inspect and preserve the bank’s collateral
- Review, research, and resolve consumer credit bureau disputes with timely communication to credit reporting agencies
- Monitor, complete, and maintain required paperwork, reports, files, and tracking systems
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School graduate or GED
- Prior collection experience preferred
- Good communication skills
- PC skills with proficiency in Word and Excel
- Good understanding of collections
- May require weekend hours and hours outside of the regularly scheduled workday
- Some travel required
- Valid driver's license
- Occasional collateral/property inspections
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers
- Ability to remain stationary for 75% of the time or greater
- Ability to move objects weighing up to 10 lbs
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States
- Employment visa sponsorship is unavailable
