About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Process routine and non-routine teller transactions and related customer and account servicing duties accurately and efficiently
  • Perform administrative duties, maintain records, prepare forms and reports, and balance the daily vault
  • Engage in referral and relationship management according to established objectives and goals
  • Support basic consumer deposit account opening
  • Adhere to security measures and controls to minimize potential company losses
  • Identify customer opportunities through interactive and consultative conversations
  • Provide customer services and refer customers to appropriate business partners
  • Conduct sales and service calls with existing and potential customers
  • Prospect new sales leads and ensure existing customer needs are met
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints while ensuring responsiveness and satisfaction
  • Participate in community events supporting Community Reinvestment Act efforts
  • Perform other assigned and required duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum one year experience in related banking positions or equivalent sales/customer service experience
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Ability to approach, identify, and converse with customers to identify needs and opportunities
  • Organizational, interpersonal, and customer relations skills, including problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Ability to work well with people as a team
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Employment visa sponsorship is unavailable
