About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
- Service and repair electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory
- Perform scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system configuration issues
- Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity
- Organize and triage customer issues, addressing problems proactively when possible
- Communicate with customers in an open, helpful, and professional manner focused on resolution
- Participate in virtual and hands-on training programs
- Comply with company policies, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, fleet, and safe driving requirements
- Potentially support adjacent service territories during standard shifts
- Optionally participate in overnight travel assignments for broader service coverage
- Perform other related duties consistent with qualifications and business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Local candidate to the specific geographic area
- Authorized to work in the United States
- At least 19 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets NCR Atleos fleet requirements
- PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system familiarity
- Ability to perform essential job functions without reasonable accommodation, including prolonged travel with several hours of driving per day, rotating and weekend shifts, lifting up to 50 lbs., and physical activities such as bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and repetitive hand movements
- Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software
- A+ Certification, CompTIA, or Network+ (N+) Certification
- One (1) or more years of related experience
