About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Install, maintain, and repair equipment within the assigned territory/region
  • Resolve or escalate customer concerns and issues to the supervisor, territory manager, or Control Tower
  • Resolve customer problems and incidents through satisfactory completion or in accordance with agreed service levels
  • Perform work on low-complexity products and services, particularly financial products and ATMs
  • Perform minor repairs and replace components in PCs, workstations, peripherals, printers, and front-end POS systems
  • Perform first-line maintenance on ATMs and kiosks
  • Assist with site preparation, including cable installation, equipment setup, and minor testing
  • Perform modular exchanges and unit replacements as needed
  • Build working relationships with customers and local account communication channels
  • Positively represent NCR Atleos
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on assigned products
  • Diagnose issues, perform minor repairs, and replace components at the module level
  • Follow safety procedures when working with ATMs and/or financial institutions
  • Manage NCR assets used to provide customer services
  • Maintain parts inventory and records
  • Produce accurate and timely reports of calls, activities, and expenses
  • Capture customer asset information and data required for billing or invoicing
  • Handle dispatched service calls daily or establish a daily schedule based on automated reports
  • Ensure team productivity targets are met
  • Work with the Call Center team via PDA for machine recovery
  • Work with the Security Escort Officer

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Technical high school diploma
  • Registration with the CFT (Federal Council of Industrial Technicians)
  • Valid driver’s license, Category B or higher
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses)
  • 0–1 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Windows operating systems
  • Experience in PC hardware maintenance and support
  • A+ ITE certification or a degree/diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering from a polytechnic institution
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods
  • Ability to carry and lift a tool/parts kit weighing 1–50 lb
  • Ability to bend/squat and walk, stand, or sit for extended periods
  • Availability to work rotating shifts as required
