About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install, maintain, and repair equipment within a designated territory/region
Respond to customer concerns and issues by resolving them or escalating them to the supervisor, territory manager, or Control Tower
Store parts at home, receive and ship materials, and keep inventory up to date
Resolve customer problems or incidents to the customer’s satisfaction or in accordance with agreed service levels
Work on low-complexity products and services, specifically financial products/ATMs
Perform minor repairs and replace components in Level I equipment, including PCs, workstations, peripherals, printers, and front-end POS systems
Perform first-line maintenance on ATMs and kiosks
Assist with site preparation, including cable installation, equipment setup, and basic testing
Perform modular swaps and unit replacements as needed
Build working relationships with customers and develop informal communication channels with the customer account at the local level
Represent NCR positively
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on assigned products
Diagnose issues, perform minor repairs, and replace components at the module level
Follow appropriate safety procedures when working with ATMs and/or inside financial institutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Technical high school diploma
Registration with the CFT (Federal Council of Industrial Technicians)
Valid driver’s license, Category B or higher
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (two doses)
0–1 years of related experience
Ability to work with Microsoft Office
Experience with Windows operating systems
Experience in PC hardware maintenance and support
A+ ITE certification or a diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to learn new skills quickly
Successful completion of the screening criteria applicable to the position
