About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with corporate network architects, cloud architects, and project teams
- Participate in architecture review board reviews to define project cloud infrastructure
- Secure the cloud environment by implementing security measures, monitoring threats, and ensuring compliance
- Oversee day-to-day cloud environment operations to ensure services are available, performant, and cost-effective
- Manage platform maturity, governance, and automation in alignment with organizational policies and standards
- Drive technical changes needed for cloud adoption
- Manage technical solutions, business alignment, project management, and operations for adopted solutions
- Maintain a secure, efficient, and scalable cloud environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong expertise in Azure Cloud Engineering
- C#/.NET application development experience
- REST API and microservices development experience
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitOps
- Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
- Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform and Azure Resource Manager
- Experience with HELM, ARM, Terraform, and ASO for automation and configuration management
- Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance
- GitHub version control experience, including GitOps and Gitflow/Trunk Based branching models
- Understanding of virtual networks, subnets, load balancers, firewalls, DNS, and VPNs in a cloud environment
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity and access management, encryption, key vaults, and compliance
- Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job
- Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript understanding preferred
- Secure Development Lifecycles understanding preferred
