About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install, maintain, diagnose, repair, and replace components on NCR Voyix equipment within an assigned territory
Support Point of Sale, self-service checkout, servers, back-office equipment, handheld terminals, and associated peripherals
Install new equipment and upgrade existing equipment in line with Statements of Work
Assist with site preparation, cable installation, equipment staging, and equipment testing
Perform modular swaps, unit replacements, and preventative maintenance
Own customer problems and incidents through resolution or escalation in accordance with customer satisfaction goals and SLAs
Respond to customer concerns and escalate issues to the appropriate associate, team member, territory manager, or Control Tower
Build customer relationships and develop local communication channels
Manage NCR Voyix assets, parts inventory, and parts records
Report calls, activities, expenses, customer asset information, and billing data accurately and promptly
Schedule and complete dispatched service calls to meet SLAs
Travel as required, including outside the assigned area, and participate in weekend, evening, night-shift, overtime, flex-shift, and on-call coverage
Achieve established KPIs while maintaining customer satisfaction, quality, cost awareness, and safe operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Clean Driving License required
High School Diploma or equivalent years of related experience
Basic computer skills, including Windows OS navigation and basic familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
Experience in PC hardware maintenance and support
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to learn new skills quickly
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work
Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills
High mechanical/electrical aptitude
Experience maintaining computer hardware, including desktops, servers, peripherals, routers, networks, switches, and hubs
High personal integrity
Ability to support and promote teamwork and cooperative effort
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime, flex shifts, and on-call duties
Ability to carry and lift parts weighing up to 50 lbs. or 25 kg
Required training and certification may be needed to work at height and use handheld power tools
