About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install, maintain, diagnose, repair, and replace components on NCR Voyix equipment, including Point of Sale, self-service checkout, servers, back-office equipment, hand-held terminals, peripherals, routers, networks, switches, and hubs
Install new equipment and upgrade existing equipment in line with Statements of Work
Assist with site preparation, including cable installation, equipment staging, and testing
Perform modular swaps, unit replacements, and preventative maintenance
Own customer problems or incidents through resolution or escalation in accordance with customer satisfaction requirements and SLAs
Respond to customer concerns and escalate issues to appropriate associates, team members, territory managers, or the Control Tower
Build customer relationships and develop local customer-account communication channels
Manage NCR Voyix service assets, parts inventory, and parts records
Report service calls, activities, expenses, customer asset information, and invoicing/billing data accurately and promptly
Travel within and potentially outside the assigned territory, including prolonged travel and lifting parts up to 50 lbs. or 25 kg
Participate in assigned shifts, including weekends, evenings, overtime, flex shifts, on-call, and occasional night work
Meet established KPIs while prioritizing customer satisfaction, quality, cost awareness, and safe operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Clean Driving License required
High School Diploma or equivalent years of related experience
Basic Computer skills including Windows OS navigation and basic familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
Experience in PC Hardware Maintenance and support
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to pick up new skills quickly
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to meet deadlines and produce high quality work
Excellent interpersonal skills/customer relationship skills required
High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude
Experience maintaining computer hardware (Desktops, Servers, peripherals), routers, networks, switches, hubs required
High level of personal integrity
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime, flex shifts, and on-calls
Ability to work at height and/or use handheld power tools subject to required training and certification
