About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
Service electromechanical equipment such as self-checkout systems within an assigned territory
Perform maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance work, and system overhauls
Act as a first-line response to customers
Communicate with customers to identify and provide appropriate solutions
Organize and triage customer issues and proactively handle potential problems
Support customers through formal training provided by NCR Voyix

Requirements

What you’ll need

Local candidate to specific geographic area
Authorized to work in the US
At least 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license and driving record that satisfies NCR fleet requirements
PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to travel extensively, driving several hours per day
Availability for rotating and weekend shifts
Flexibility to work morning, afternoon, and evening rotating shifts, including some holidays
Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance and up to 150 lbs. with assistance
Ability to perform bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, working with your hands, and repetitive grasping and object manipulation
Willingness to be trained on and operate small-scale scissor lifts
Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of applicable screening criteria
