About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
Service electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory
Conduct maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls
Communicate openly and effectively as a first line of response to identify and resolve issues
Use NCR Voyix training to deliver the right solution at the right time
Represent the NCR Voyix brand and help keep global commerce running
Collaborate across territories with teachers, mentors, and coaches

Requirements

What you’ll need

Local candidate to specific geographic area
Authorized to work in the U.S.
At least 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license and driving record that satisfies NCR fleet requirements
PC skills, basic electronic skills, and some specific hardware and operating system familiarity
Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day
Rotating and weekend shifts
Flexible shift work – rotating shifts within set teams, including morning, afternoon, and evening start times, with some holidays
Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance, and up to 150 lbs. with assistance
Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with your hands, and repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size
Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software (preferred)
A+ Certification, CompTIA, N+ Certification (preferred)
One or more years of related experience (preferred)
Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job
