About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform installations, maintenance, and service calls at customer locations quickly and efficiently
Maintain electromechanical equipment, such as self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory
Complete maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance (PM), and system refurbishment work
Organize and triage customer requests
Act as the first point of contact for customers and communicate professionally to identify appropriate solutions
Intervene proactively before issues arise
Serve as a brand ambassador for NCR Voyix

Requirements

What you’ll need

Reside locally within the assigned geographic area
Authorized to travel to the United States
At least 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets NCRV fleet requirements
Computer skills, basic electronics knowledge, and familiarity with certain hardware and operating systems
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to travel extensively, including driving several hours per day
Rotating shifts and weekend work
Flexible schedule with morning, afternoon, and evening rotating-shift starts, including some holidays
Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs unassisted and up to 150 lbs with assistance
Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with hands, and repeatedly perform grasping and handling motions involving objects of various sizes
Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job
Knowledge of high-capacity servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software (preferred, not required)
A+, CompTIA, or N+ certifications (preferred, not required)
One year or more of relevant experience (preferred, not required)
