About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
  • Service electromechanical equipment such as self-checkout systems within an assigned territory
  • Perform maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls
  • Act as a first-line response to customers
  • Communicate with customers in an open, helpful, and engaging manner to find the right solution
  • Organize and triage customer issues
  • Handle some customer problems before they start
  • Complete formal virtual and hands-on training to provide customers with needed support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Local candidate to specific geographic area
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Have a valid driver’s license and driving record that satisfies NCR fleet requirements
  • PC skills, basic electronic skills, and some specific hardware and operating system familiarity
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day
  • Ability to work rotating and weekend shifts
  • Ability to work flexible rotating shifts, including morning, afternoon, and evening start times and some holidays
  • Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance, and up to 150 lbs. with assistance
  • Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with your hands, and repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size
  • Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job
