About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide first-line response to customers and communicate in an open, helpful, and engaging manner
Organize and triage customer issues and address problems proactively
Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
Service electromechanical equipment such as self-checkout systems within an assigned territory
Perform maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance work, and system overhauls
Service or replace networking equipment such as access points or switches
Participate in formal virtual and hands-on classroom training
Collaborate with teachers, mentors, coaches, and diverse individuals across service territories

Requirements

What you’ll need

Local candidate to a specific geographic area
Authorized to work in the US
At least 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license and driving record satisfying NCRV fleet requirements
PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Prolonged travel, including driving several hours per day
Rotating and weekend shifts
Flexible shift work, including morning, afternoon, and evening start times and some holidays
Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance and up to 150 lbs. with assistance
Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with hands, and repetitively grasp and manipulate objects
Willingness to be trained on and operate small-scale scissor lifts in retail environments
Employment conditional upon passage of applicable screening criteria
Preferred: familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software
Preferred: A+ Certification, CompTIA, or N+ Certification
Preferred: one or more years of related experience
