About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform installations, maintenance, and service calls at customer locations
Maintain electromechanical equipment, such as self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory
Complete maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance, and system refurbishment work
Organize and triage customer requests
Communicate openly, helpfully, and professionally with customers to identify appropriate solutions
Take proactive action before issues arise
Serve as an NCR Voyix brand ambassador

Requirements

What you’ll need

Reside locally within the assigned geographic area
Be authorized to travel to the United States
Be at least 18 years of age
Hold a valid driver’s license and have a driving record that meets NCR Voyix fleet requirements
Have computer skills, basic electronics knowledge, and familiarity with certain hardware and operating systems
Be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
Be able to travel extensively, including driving several hours per day
Be available for rotating shifts and weekend work
Have a flexible schedule with morning, afternoon, and evening start times, including some holidays
Be able to carry and lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted and 150 lbs. with assistance
Be able to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with hands, and perform repetitive motions
Knowledge of high-capacity servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software preferred, but not required
A+, CompTIA, or N+ certifications preferred, but not required
One year or more of relevant experience preferred, but not required
