About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and contribute to technical solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with established coding standards.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support system testing to ensure software quality and functionality.
Assist in identifying and resolving software defects and performance issues.
Research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to improve existing systems and processes.
Contribute to technical documentation, including design specifications, API documentation, and user guides.
Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, C#, JavaScript).
Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Prior internship or project experience in software development is a plus.
10+ years of experience in the role or a related field.
