Key responsibilities & impact

Design and build product features and UI for desktop and mobile devices
Build features end users interact with, plus shared components, APIs and extension points for other engineering groups
Contribute to and evolve the UI and design system
Optimize rendering and interaction performance, including 3D visualization of very large networks
Write and review production-quality code across performance-critical, data-intensive components
Contribute to system design and architectural decisions
Build shared components and capabilities used by other engineering teams
Gather requirements from internal customers
Work with Product, Design and Customer Success to understand utility challenges and develop solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Experience designing and building product features and UI
Experience with Dart, Flutter, JavaScript, Rust and WebGL
Experience rendering and interacting with large-scale 3D models and rich dashboards in the browser
Understanding of UI and design systems
Experience optimizing rendering and interaction performance for large or complex datasets
Ability to write and review production-quality code across performance-critical, data-intensive components
Ability to contribute to system design and architectural decisions
Ability to build shared components and capabilities for other engineering teams
Ability to gather requirements from internal customers
Ability to work with Product, Design and Customer Success
Product sense and focus on customer outcomes
Ability to get up to speed quickly in unfamiliar technical areas
Ability to ship ambitious work incrementally
Current and unrestricted working rights; visa sponsorship is not available
Nice to have: experience with design systems, component libraries or platform SDKs
Nice to have: deep proficiency with TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks
Nice to have: graphics, WebGL/GPU or large 3D scene rendering experience
Nice to have: Flutter/Dart experience
Nice to have: consumer product background
Nice to have: experience building dense, stateful tools for expert users
