About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify quarterly strategic initiatives that matter most for Neara's trajectory and embed with delivery teams
- Run high-impact cross-functional projects from diagnosis through implementation
- Structure, track and unblock major initiatives so milestones land and leadership has visibility into progress
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to de-risk strategically important projects
- Quantify customer value and identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities
- Build operating structures, go-to-market motions and processes for new business verticals
- Help deliver initial projects for new verticals
- Temporarily embed in Product, Engineering or Customer Success to address critical business needs
- Pair with executives or the CPO on critical initiatives
- Review and rebuild processes that slow teams down
- Use code, data or product work to deliver hands-on outcomes where relevant
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically 3+ years in operations or strategy at a high-growth startup, in consulting, or in a technical or product role
- Bias toward execution
- Strong analytical ability, including turning raw data into clear structure, sound logic and actionable decisions
- Ability to pick up new concepts, industries and technical contexts quickly
- Ability to create momentum without waiting for the perfect brief
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work effectively with engineers, commercial leads and executives
- Practical, low-ego, operational execution mindset
- Some experience with coding, product or engineering
- Comfort getting technical without necessarily being an engineer
- Bonus: enterprise SaaS or energy/utilities experience
- AI & Engineering track: background in data science or data engineering and experience working alongside AI or engineering teams
- AI & Engineering track: ability to understand data, models and pipelines and participate in technical conversations
- Authorization to work in Australia and ability to address Australian employment visa sponsorship requirements
