About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team
  • Support technical development and career progression
  • Own delivery for the team's domain, including goals, milestones, and reliable project delivery
  • Establish workflows and development practices balancing speed, quality, and maintainability
  • Break down complex technical challenges into achievable plans
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Customer Success, and Sales
  • Partner with other Tech Lead Managers on engineering best practices, tooling, platform direction, and culture
  • Contribute to system design, architectural decisions, and production-quality code
  • Shape client and product UX, design systems, rendering and interaction performance, and 3D visualisation of large networks
  • Build APIs, extension points, shared components, and end-user features

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experienced Tech Lead Manager with strong technical depth in software engineering
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and growing engineers at multiple levels
  • Experience owning delivery end to end
  • Experience architecting and shipping complex, production-grade systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong product sense and ability to partner with Product
  • Ability to adapt plans based on evidence and deliver complex projects incrementally
  • Experience with Dart, JavaScript, Flutter, Rust, and WebGL
  • Experience with UI, design systems, performance, 3D rendering, and large-scale visualisation
  • Experience building or leading dense, stateful, expert-user tools
  • Current and unrestricted working rights; visa sponsorship is not available
