About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the HR business partner to senior leaders across EMEA and APAC, including leaders with global teams
  • Partner with regional leadership on organizational design, talent strategy, and leadership development
  • Represent the People function in regional leadership conversations and integrate people considerations into business decisions
  • Act as a senior thought partner to the CHRO on the strategic and operational maturity of the People function
  • Identify investments needed in process design and team capability
  • Champion consistency and rigor in global People function operations
  • Directly manage and coach HR business partner(s) based in Europe
  • Build a scalable operating model for EMEA and APAC
  • Own employee relations casework across the region and determine when to escalate to Legal or the CHRO
  • Identify and close gaps in regional and global People processes
  • Partner with external legal, employer-of-record, and advisory resources across jurisdictions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Extensive experience as a senior HR business partner leader, typically 10 or more years
  • Strong track record advising senior leaders directly on organizational design, leadership development, and succession planning
  • Deep business acumen and ability to shape business decisions
  • Experience operating as a player-coach, advising executives on sensitive people matters and handling operational details
  • Experience bringing structure, process, and operational excellence to a People function
  • Experience in fast-moving startup environments and larger global organizations
  • Experience spanning multiple countries and cultures
  • Ability to partner with external legal and compliance resources rather than being the expert in every jurisdiction
  • Experience managing and developing team members, or genuine enthusiasm to take on that responsibility
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and motivated to build, make a significant impact, and drive change
