About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own ARR and revenue reporting in HubSpot
  • Roll out the ARR framework for multi-year, annual-PO, pilot, academic-calendar, expansion, contraction and churn scenarios
  • Reconcile ARR with Finance monthly and track changes
  • Report gross and net revenue retention and build leadership and board dashboards
  • Build a self-serve deal desk for standard MSAs and order forms
  • Own redlines, DPAs and district-provided contracts and distinguish business terms from legal terms before counsel review
  • Coordinate RFPs, vendor registrations and cooperative purchasing contracts
  • Run close checklists, order processing, invoice requests and commission calculations
  • Enforce deal-stage definitions across New Business, Renewal and Expansion pipelines
  • Run weekly forecast and renewal forecast cadences
  • Flag inactive deals weekly and maintain nurture follow-up with Marketing
  • Design territories and account assignments based on coverage and pipeline
  • Build quota and capacity models for new sales hires
  • Run annual territory and quota refreshes and track attainment with the Head of Sales
  • Administer HubSpot, maintain data quality and manage required fields, deal sources, segmentation and imports
  • Own the GTM tool stack and integration decisions for Gong, Apollo, Instantly, Clay, DocuSign and Stripe
  • Build lifecycle automation and event and campaign tracking with Marketing
  • Train new sales hires on HubSpot and company processes
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer success, finance and legal
  • Report to the COO until the Head of Sales is hired

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Hands-on experience running deal desk or contract-to-cash for a B2B SaaS company, including MSAs, order forms, redlines, invoicing and commissions
  • Admin-level experience with HubSpot, or deep admin experience with a comparable CRM and ability to get fluent in HubSpot quickly
  • Track record of building ARR or revenue reporting signed off by Finance, including renewals, expansion and churn
  • Experience running a forecasting cadence relied on by sales leadership
  • Ability to build scalable processes and automations and drive adoption among people outside the reporting line
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proactive, self-directed communication in a remote, async team
  • Experience selling into higher education or K-12 is a nice-to-have
  • Territory design and quota or capacity planning experience is a nice-to-have
  • Experience with Gong, Apollo, Instantly, Clay, DocuSign or Stripe is a nice-to-have
  • Experience as a first or early RevOps hire is a nice-to-have
  • Experience using AI tools for contract, reporting or data-hygiene work is a nice-to-have
  • No degree requirements; practical knowledge and ability are valued over formal education
