About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with Product Managers to break down features and initiatives into clear, actionable requirements
  • Coordinate cross-functional product initiatives and New Product Development activities
  • Evaluate project status, identify risks, and recommend solutions
  • Assess customer insights, feedback, market intelligence, and product-related issues to recommend improvements
  • Write detailed, engineering-ready tickets and user stories in JIRA, including acceptance criteria, edge cases, and context
  • Translate approved designs into implementation-ready specifications and flag gaps or open questions
  • Maintain and groom the backlog alongside the Senior PM
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stand-ups
  • Help unblock engineering by answering clarifying questions
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, QA, and customer-facing teams
  • Support triage of customer-reported issues and feature requests
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, competitive activity, customer adoption, and sales performance
  • Use AI tools such as Claude to accelerate documentation, ticket drafting, and research
  • Track sprint and release goals and flag risks or blockers
  • Document decisions, workflows, and product changes
  • Join customer calls to learn pain points and help improve benefit and value

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience
  • 1–2+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related role; SaaS environment strongly preferred
  • Strong, clear written communication, able to turn a vague ask into a well-structured ticket
  • Comfort working in JIRA or a similar tool and Confluence, or a fast willingness to learn
  • Familiarity with AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT for research, drafting, and day-to-day productivity
  • Detail-oriented and willing to investigate implementation specifics
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven delivery environment
  • Curious and coachable
  • Experience in customer relationship management within the product lifecycle
  • Ability to navigate complex situations with strategic planning skills
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Ability to commute to the Atlanta office at least one day per week
