About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain relationships with educational institution contacts
  • Proactively reach out to institutions and maintain high availability
  • Provide direction and guidance on NBS products and services
  • Train institutions on products, processes, and procedures
  • Provide customer service by telephone, chat, fax, email, and written correspondence
  • Answer high-volume phone calls and chats from all regions of the country
  • Set up and maintain institution profiles, terms, and marketing sites
  • Encourage increased use of NBS products and technical services
  • Troubleshoot problems and offer solutions
  • Communicate with sales and internal contacts regarding existing institutions and new leads
  • Report activities to the team leader
  • Participate in special projects and committees and perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College graduate in related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience in banking or customer service is preferred
  • Previous experience in education (e.g., teaching, school district, or student services) is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team player and establish good rapport with co-workers
  • Detail oriented with excellent prioritization, organization and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and complete projects under high pressure deadlines and stressful situations
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • General knowledge of NBS products and other areas and products within the company
  • General computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, e-mail, internet, and CRM system
  • Understanding the unique needs of educational institutions is beneficial
  • Must already be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
