About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in solution design for diverse business needs
Analyze and translate business requirements into technical requirements
Create design documents and technical specifications
Develop backend services in C#/.NET for high-volume, distributed workflows
Contribute to frontend Angular web applications
Work with SQL and NoSQL datastores
Implement message-driven and service-oriented architectures
Build and troubleshoot Docker-containerized services
Work within IaC-driven deployment workflows and use AWS tooling
Follow technology and security best practices and standards
Provide post-implementation support, including performance monitoring and debugging
Monitor logs and trace distributed workflows to diagnose root causes
Write testable code and contribute to automated unit and integration tests
Participate in code reviews, on-call, and production release processes
Maintain service boundaries and clean-architecture conventions
Produce documentation for maintainability, onboarding, and operational support
Collaborate in an agile delivery environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and/or a related discipline or work experience preferred
Preferably 2+ years of software development experience; junior-level candidates with strong fundamentals are encouraged to apply
Strong proficiency in at least one key competency
US Citizenship required
Ability to obtain a 6C Federal security clearance required
Proficiency in C#/.NET backend development
TypeScript/JavaScript and Angular experience
SQL and relational modeling; Entity Framework and LINQ
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL datastores
Docker and containerized environments
AWS tooling
Infrastructure-as-code-driven deployment workflows
Git, branching, pull requests, readable commits, and code review
Automated unit and integration testing
Secure coding practices, NIST-informed security/compliance, dependency and secrets management
Log reading, distributed tracing, and monitoring tools
Agile software delivery and full software development lifecycle knowledge
Clear verbal and written communication with technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to learn technologies, domain concepts, and business processes in a complex regulatory environment
Ability to use AI-assisted tools in accordance with organizational data-handling and security policies
