  • Independently manage a portfolio of typically multi-departmental projects and potentially strategic programs
  • Consult with internal and external partners to clarify and define project requirements
  • Track progress while navigating ambiguity
  • Manage information flow, conflicts, and problems to deliver successful project/program outcomes
  • Develop and manage plans covering interdependencies, dependencies, communications, scope, changes, risks, and issues
  • Set realistic project/program goals and develop strategies to achieve them
  • Thoroughly and professionally document communications, risks, and issues
  • Measure project/program performance and identify improvement areas
  • Provide and tailor project/program status reporting to applicable audiences
  • Utilize best practices, techniques, and standards throughout execution
  • Assist in developing departmental workflows, processes, and procedures
  • Serve as a resource and mentor to new project management team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • Proven record of success in previous projects
  • Experience with project management software
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Consensus-building skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, change, and competing demands
  • Demonstrated respect, collaboration, and pride in ownership
