About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enhance and support internal and external web-based applications
- Work with IT teams to develop and maintain applications using .NET, C#, SQL, and Angular
- Collaborate with technology experts
- Learn new technologies and languages relevant to the team
- Develop skills in coding, testing, and evaluating technical tradeoffs
- Participate in standup meetings and sprints
- Take on projects related to the team’s goals
- Attend intern professional, personal, and social development events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Pursuing degree in an IT-related field including software development, computer science, or other related major
- Current standing Junior or above preferred
- General knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), computer information systems, and Agile approach
- Knowledge of computers, preferably Microsoft packages and advancement in programming language learning
- Previous experience in creating and deploying software preferred, including internship, class-based project, personal project, research opportunity, or non-profit work
- Experience solving complex problems and working through challenging requirements preferred
- Motivated and excited by technical challenges
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Passionate about collaborating with teammates and customers
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates an eagerness to learn and enjoys helping others
- Shares new ideas, is creative and passionate about innovation
- Detail oriented and cares about creating an exceptional user experience
- Comfortable working in an agile development environment and understands on time/within-budget principles
- Experience with Microsoft .NET, C#, SQL, and RESTful Web Services
- Must complete United States Government security clearance
- Must be a United States citizen; foreign nationals cannot be hired for this position
