About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan targeting large banking institutions
  • Build a robust pipeline and achieve sales objectives for mission-critical financial services use cases
  • Become an expert in Neo4j’s product offerings and industry solutions
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and proposals articulating business value
  • Position Neo4j solutions against legacy relational databases and competing technologies
  • Lead complex solution-based sales cycles using strategic selling tactics, including the Land & Expand model
  • Manage the full sales process from prospecting through closing
  • Secure new logos and expand within major financial organizations
  • Guide and mentor SDRs and Field Marketing on banking-specific target accounts and pipeline development
  • Maintain accurate CRM information and adhere to forecasting guidelines
  • Develop partnerships with AWS, Google, and Microsoft Azure to drive cloud-first banking growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address fraud detection, anti-money laundering, and real-time risk management challenges

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of proven success in enterprise software sales
  • Consistent track record of exceeding targets within the Financial Services Industry
  • Experience managing complex enterprise sales processes focused on Data Warehousing, AI/ML, or Fraud/Risk Management
  • Ability to develop close relationships with C-level stakeholders at major banks
  • Deep understanding of commercial open-source business models
  • Experience selling on-premise and secure cloud/SaaS hybrid solutions for regulated environments
  • Ability to craft and execute sales strategies tailored to the Banking and Securities industry
  • Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales
  • Experience collaborating with Pre-Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Field Engineering
  • Ability to build relationships with CTOs, IT leaders, technical end users, Solution Architects, Professional Services, and Channel Partners
  • Experience selling complex technical solutions, subscription-based models, and cloud deployments preferred
  • Knowledge of graph technology, data management tools, or advanced data-driven technologies preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, Salesforce, and MS Office preferred
