About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead coordination and completion of the Company’s quarterly and year-end US GAAP consolidated income tax provision under ASC 740
  • Collect, review, and consolidate U.S. and non-U.S. information for tax provision
  • Prepare and review memoranda related to FIN48, APB23, and valuation allowance positions
  • Prepare detailed work papers and tax disclosures for 10-Q, 10-K, and non-GAAP reporting
  • Serve as global process owner for income tax accounting and reporting
  • Lead global tax budget and forecast processes, including intercompany transactions, effective tax rate, and cash taxes
  • Lead internal and external tax reporting audits and oversee tax-related SOX controls and governance
  • Act as primary tax business partner for USAC and LATAM regions
  • Oversee tax governance, tax planning, transfer pricing, and income tax compliance within USAC and LATAM
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement tax planning opportunities, including restructurings, supply chain initiatives, legal entity optimization, and tax incentives
  • Oversee U.S. Federal, State and Local, and LATAM income tax compliance processes
  • Oversee operational transfer pricing and transfer pricing compliance activities
  • Oversee tax audits, examinations, and controversy matters within USAC and LATAM
  • Review regional tax metrics, including effective tax rate, cash taxes paid, and flux analysis
  • Evaluate tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and other strategic transactions
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting USAC and LATAM
  • Oversee indirect tax governance and risk management activities
  • Drive continuous improvement of tax processes, data management, automation, and reporting capabilities
  • Develop relationships across Finance, Legal, Treasury, Operations, and regional leadership teams
  • Develop, mentor, and lead members of the Global Tax team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience or expertise in US GAAP consolidated income tax provision and ASC 740
  • Knowledge of FIN48, APB23, and valuation allowance positions
  • Experience preparing 10-Q, 10-K, and non-GAAP tax disclosures
  • Experience with global income tax accounting and reporting
  • Experience developing global tax budgets and forecasts
  • Experience managing internal and external tax reporting audits
  • Knowledge of tax-related SOX controls and governance procedures
  • Experience supporting USAC and LATAM regions
  • Knowledge of tax governance, tax planning, transfer pricing, and income tax compliance
  • Experience with U.S. Federal, State and Local, and LATAM income tax compliance
  • Knowledge of operational transfer pricing and transfer pricing compliance
  • Experience with tax audits, examinations, and controversy matters
  • Knowledge of indirect taxes, including sales and use tax, property tax, VAT, and GST
  • Experience with tax process improvement, data management, automation, reporting, technology, and analytics
  • Ability to develop, mentor, and lead Global Tax team members
