About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the monthly accounting close, monthly reconciliations, and preparation/consolidation of Neogrid Group’s financial statements and notes to the financial statements
- Support partners, governance bodies, financial institutions, internal and external auditors, government agencies, and other company departments
- Manage the monthly accounting close to meet deadlines and comply with applicable standards
- Record payroll, revenue recognition and deferral, provisions, accruals, monetary adjustments, and other requested journal entries
- Consolidate Neogrid Group’s financial information
- Analyze monthly variances to ensure the quality of accounting information
- Review internal projects against accounting standards and classify them as CAPEX or OPEX
- Monitor and prepare accounting reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts
- Discuss discrepancies with the users responsible for the accounts through to resolution
- Participate in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and notes to the financial statements
- Monitor changes in accounting legislation to stay up to date and ensure proper procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Knowledge of Brazilian Accounting Pronouncements (CPC)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across different areas of the company
- Analytical and innovative mindset
- Ability to use Artificial Intelligence tools
- Process-oriented mindset
- ERP knowledge
- Advanced Excel
- Intermediate to advanced English is a plus
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 ERP is a plus
