About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the implementation of cyber defense strategies using SIEM, EDR, XDR, DLP, WAF, and firewalls
  • Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, identifying and mitigating security gaps
  • Manage compliance with Brazil’s LGPD, PCI, and ISO 27001, as well as conduct assessments and audits using NIST, CIS Controls, and other frameworks
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement security practices in DevSecOps
  • Oversee access and identity management, permissions, and periodic reviews
  • Respond to security incidents, conducting forensic analyses and implementing corrective measures
  • Develop and review security policies and procedures
  • Develop information security awareness programs and training
  • Analyze and implement security solutions for cloud environments using CSPM
  • Provide technical support and serve as a reference for junior team members
  • Apply MITRE ATT&CK, Threat Intelligence, and Threat Hunting
  • Conduct forensic investigations involving memory, logs, and malware
  • Use advanced cryptography, including PKI, SSL/TLS, and multifactor authentication
  • Act as a steward of the Code of Conduct guidelines and a champion of CSC’s culture, mission, and values

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Graduate degree or specialization in Information Security is a plus
  • Entry- or intermediate-level certification (Security+, CC, CySA+, DCPT, CEH)
  • Advanced information security certifications (CISSP, OSCP, CISM) are highly desirable
  • At least 6 years of experience in information security
  • Experience with protection and attack layers
  • Understanding of network layers and packets
  • Understanding of attack methodologies
  • Security communication and training tools
  • Access and identity management
  • Application architecture and secure development
  • Cloud security management (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Cyber defense and threat protection
  • Compliance and legislation
  • Security assessment in software development and DevSecOps
  • Threat analysis and intelligence
  • Monitoring and protection tools (antivirus, firewalls, etc.)
  • Penetration testing and vulnerability assessment
  • Security incident response
  • Forensic investigations (memory forensics, log analysis, and malware analysis)
  • Cryptography (PKI, SSL/TLS, multifactor authentication)
  • Audits and assessments using frameworks (NIST, CIS Controls)
  • Development of security policies and procedures
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments is a plus
  • Participation in ISO 27001, ISO 27017, or SOC 2 audits is a plus
  • Knowledge of WAF, CDN, and web application protection is a plus
  • Intermediate or advanced English for technical reading is a plus
