About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the Financial Business Partner for Cards, Banking, and Insurance
  • Support data-driven decisions, economic feasibility studies for products and features, and portfolio profitability monitoring
  • Lead the monthly, annual, and long-term budgeting cycle
  • Establish cadence, analytical standards, and ongoing reforecasting processes
  • Perform Actual vs. Budget vs. Forecast analyses
  • Lead the closing of results for the business verticals and prepare executive reports for the Board, executive leadership, and senior management
  • Build, parameterize, and enhance projection models incorporating card unit economics
  • Partner with Credit and Collections to align risk and revenue perspectives in the product P&L
  • Drive automation and explore AI applications to optimize processes
  • Lead and develop the direct team, raising the technical bar

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong experience in FP&A or Strategic Finance at banks, fintechs, or card issuers/payment companies that originate and manage their own credit portfolios
  • Practical and conceptual understanding of card financial dynamics, including NII, funding costs, interchange, fees, revolving credit, credit risk/provisioning (PDD), and cohort/vintage analysis
  • Ability to build accurate and robust financial models in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate with technical authority
  • Practical experience with AI and automation to improve efficiency (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Python or SQL (preferred)
  • Previous team management experience (preferred)
