Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years in data engineering, backend engineering, or a related field
Demonstrated experience deploying AI applications used by teams or customers
Strong Python and SQL skills
Experience with APIs, authentication, data pipelines, relational databases, and cloud infrastructure
Practical understanding of retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, structured outputs, and evaluation
Experience with testing, version control, monitoring, and secure credential management
Ability to take an ambiguous business problem through deployment
Sound judgment about when to use AI, conventional software, or a simpler process
Comfortable working with fragmented or inconsistent data
Able to scope realistically, deliver in short cycles, and communicate clearly
Accountable for implementation, troubleshooting, documentation, and handoff
Preferred experience in creator economy, influencer marketing, advertising technology, or SaaS
Experience integrating CRM, financial, marketing, or operational systems
Experience with entity resolution, data modeling, and internal tool development
Two relevant projects outlining your contribution and measurable results
