About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the month-end close process and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment runs
- Review reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals
- Manage and review the work of bookkeepers and accounting associates
- Maintain internal controls and documentation
- Partner with client finance leaders on reporting and process improvements
- Lead accounting operations for U.S. companies
- Ensure financial records are accurate, timely, and audit-ready
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and close processes
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar systems
- Advanced Excel skills
- Good written and spoken English
- High attention to detail and strong ownership
- Based in Argentina
- Reliable home office setup and stable internet connection
- Experience with U.S. GAAP (nice to have)
- CPA or equivalent qualification (nice to have)
