About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Record transactions and maintain accurate general ledgers
- Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Review balance sheets and P&L statements to identify discrepancies
- Support month-end close and prepare basic financial reports
- Follow established SOPs and communicate issues to the accounting manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero
- Strong understanding of reconciliations and basic accounting principles
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written English for communicating with U.S. teams
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Based in Argentina
- Reliable home office setup and stable internet connection
- Experience with U.S. clients or U.S. GAAP (nice to have)
- Degree in Accounting or related field (nice to have)
