About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Record transactions and maintain accurate general ledgers
Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Review balance sheets and P&L statements to identify discrepancies
Support month-end close and prepare basic financial reports
Follow established SOPs and communicate issues to the accounting manager
Manage day-to-day financial records for U.S. companies and accounting firms
Keep books accurate and up to date from transaction recording through month-end reconciliations

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero
Strong understanding of reconciliations and basic accounting principles
High attention to detail and accuracy
Good written English for communicating with U.S. teams
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Based in Colombia
Reliable home office setup and stable internet connection
Experience with U.S. clients or U.S. GAAP (nice to have)
Degree in Accounting or related field (nice to have)
