About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver an enterprise-class NetApp software product
Create detailed designs and implement major management components for NetApp JetStream’s Disaster Recovery control plane software
Work closely with back-end developers, front-end developers, and QA team to deliver products on schedule
Develop and extend RESTful APIs and write client-side code interacting with RESTful APIs and SDKs
Design, develop, and maintain backend software, including enhancements, bug fixes, and POCs
Develop complex orchestration capabilities to configure and manage VMware vSphere entities, including VMs, hosts, and clusters, for disaster recovery
Design, develop, and implement unit and scenario testing
Ensure code quality, troubleshoot bugs, automate processes, and participate in and lead code reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
6+ years of experience in development with Java/J2EE software development and Web Technologies
4+ years in developing management software for VMware vSphere Environment and Cloud technologies
Experience developing Java RESTful Web Applications, Database, JPA and Hibernate frameworks
Experience with Cloud storage like Amazon S3, Azure SDK and Google Cloud is preferred
Proven track record of working in complex projects and delivering products on schedule
Experience working with geographically distributed teams
Excellent testing and debugging skills
